Note

The museum is closed on Mondays (however, it will be open on October 13 (Mon, holiday), November 3 (Mon, holiday), and November 24 (Mon, closed)), October 14 (Tue), and November 4 (Tue). It is open until 8 PM on Fridays. Admission is until 30 minutes before closing. There will be some changes in the exhibits during the exhibition period. The first period is from October 7 to November 3 / the second period is from November 5 to November 24

Get off at the city bus No. 5 "Okazaki Koen Bijutsukan / Heian Jingu Mae" stop, and it is just nearby, about a 10-minute walk from Higashiyama station on the Tozai subway line
