Special Exhibition "Utagawa Kuniyoshi Exhibition - The Magic of a Genius Artist"

Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861), a ukiyo-e artist from the late Edo period. He created innovative works that challenged the history of ukiyo-e with his unconventional ideas and sense of humor that resonate with modern design, gaining high popularity both domestically and internationally. This exhibition presents about 400 pieces, including warrior pictures, caricatures, prints, and original paintings, making it the definitive Kuniyoshi exhibition.
