Hofu Tenmangu Hanakamikoshisanshiki
Gorgeous and splendid shrine procession
The shrine visit ceremony where the large and small attendants of the Mikoshi Festival are prayed for to safely carry out their roles, by offering a specially made sake to the Hanakamikoshi. On the day, charming children will ride in flower baskets and the imperial carriages, accompanied by attendants resembling a noble procession, carrying long-handled containers, forming a procession that walks from the main base to the shrine hall over half a day.
