Abe Monjuin Entrance Exam Pass and Yaku Removal Initial Prayer
Strict prayers will be performed in front of the national treasure, Monju Bosatsu.
Abe Monjuin, founded in the first year of the Taiho era (645), is considered one of the three Monju in Japan along with Kido Monju in Amanohashidate, Kyoto, and Kameoka Monju in Yamagata. It is also widely known as the temple of the yinyang master Abe no Seimei from the Heian period, and various ruins related to Seimei still remain. Additionally, it is widely known as the Buddha who bestows knowledge and wisdom. Strict prayers will be performed in front of the national treasure, Monju Bosatsu, from midnight on New Year's Day.
