Purification of sins and impurities from the last six months
A ceremony to purify sins and impurities from the last six months. At Sumiyoshi Taisha, it is conducted in front of the May Hall. Participants attend the religious event and purify themselves using 'Kirinusa' (cut rice), praying for the expulsion of evil and the invitation of good fortune.
