Isla de Salsa World Beat Festival

The theme is "Diversity and Co-Creation"
Fukuoka's summer tradition, "Isla de Salsa," is a multicultural exchange festival where music, dance, and cuisine from around the world blend together. The venue is Nokonoshima Island, just a 10-minute ferry ride from Fukuoka city. This year marks the 26th edition, themed "World Beat Festival," which has evolved to be more participatory! Each visitor becomes a "spice" contributing to a unique, free, and creative festival. The encounter of people and cultures creates something new; you, too, can have a "salsa" experience. ■Notes Vehicles without a "boarding permit" issued by the organizer are not allowed to board on Nokonoshima Island.
