2023 Koishihara Pottery Kiln Exhibition

Koishihara-yaki, with nearly 350 years of history as a ceramic craft, creates beautiful and user-friendly tableware and flower vases using traditional techniques such as brush strokes, comb patterns, finger painting, flowing glaze, and stamping. In recent years, some kilns have ventured into creating tableware that is both innovative in color and modern in style. This exhibition features a variety of works from eight kilns that are members of the Koishihara Pottery Cooperative.
