80th Fukuoka Prefecture Art Exhibition (Ken Ten)

The prefectural exhibition, boasting one of the longest histories in the country, is held at the Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art. There are about 2,500 entries each year. The exhibition is divided into four periods: Period 1 "Sculpture and Photography", Period 2 "Japanese Painting, Crafts, and Design", Period 3 "Western Painting", Period 4 "Calligraphy", showcasing selected and award-winning works along with works by members of the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Association.

Open until 17:00 on the last day of each session. Admission until 30 minutes before closing. Closed on Mondays (except when it falls on a public holiday, then it is closed the following weekday)
