The largest comprehensive art festival in Shizuoka Prefecture
The "Fuji no Kuni Art Festival", the largest of its kind in Shizuoka Prefecture, is a comprehensive art festival where a variety of cultural activities by the residents are presented and appreciated. This year marks its 65th edition. Starting in 2024, it will be integrated with the "Shizuoka Prefectural Art Festival for Persons with Disabilities", and a new "Cultural Arts Division for Persons with Disabilities" will be established. The "Finder" open call exhibition for works in the Cultural Arts Division for Persons with Disabilities is a judged open call exhibition targeting works by individuals with some form of handicap who have a connection to Shizuoka Prefecture and engage in social life. Judging will consist of a preliminary selection and a final public judging.
