"Noh" Learn a Little

"The Guardian of Traditional Culture" Learn Noh from Mr. Ezaki
Hyogo Prefecture Designated Important Tangible Cultural Property Hayashida Oushouya Former Miki Family Residence
10/12(Sun) 10:30~15:00
A Noh performance is being held to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Miki family's public opening. The guide is Mr. Kinjiro Ezaki, the official Noh performer of the Himeji Domain, while Mr. Yuki Kasada will perform the Shite role and Ms. Ankai Hida will play the small drum. It will be a time to learn that 'Noh' means 'fun.' Even for those who are new to 'What is Noh?', Mr. Ezaki's entertaining and easy-to-understand talk will convey the charm and behind-the-scenes stories of Noh, making you feel like you've gained something just by knowing. The next time you see Noh, you will surely feel excited thinking, 'Ah, that was the story from that time.' ■Notes Each session is limited to 80 people, first come, first served.
