Once in a lifetime, the Shichi-Go-San celebration that can only be received at this age. It is a prayer for the healthy growth of children. In November, as one of the unique rituals of the Narita-san Shichi-Go-San Celebration and Prayer Festival, there is a ritual called "passing through the five-colored chikuwa (chinowa)". Participants pass through a large ring woven from sedge, purifying their mind and body while praying for a life free of sickness. The five colors represent the five wisdom Buddhas and symbolize the benefits of wisdom.
