Watanabe Ume Farmer Doll Exhibition 'Song of the Path'

Watanabe Ume Farmer Doll Exhibition 'Song of the Path'

What Ume-san wanted to leave behind

Hyogo Prefecture Designated Important Tangible Cultural Property - Former Miki House of Hayashida

9/26(Fri)~10/20(Mon) 10:00~16:00

We continue to create dolls with the feeling that we cannot forget the people who lived in the rural era. We will showcase about 25 dolls and works that were gifted to facilities and individuals, as well as materials related to Ume-san. The dolls created by Ume-san that replicate the lives of people who lived in Tajima represent the grandparents and children that Ume-san actually saw, capturing the hearts of viewers and evoking the feeling of wanting to meet them again. For those who have shared the same time, it resonates with their own lives. Let’s feel what true importance is. ■ Notes Accepted: Himeji City Donguri card, Himeji City Senior Citizen Discount card, Disability certificate.
