Special Exhibition "Insect MANIAC"

Insects are the largest group of living organisms, accounting for over half of the reported species on Earth, with about 1 million species. This exhibition features a unique perspective from researchers at the National Museum of Nature and Science, showcasing a selection of niche insect specimens along with the latest insect research, exploring the astonishing diversity of "bugs*" including familiar insects like rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles, as well as spiders and centipedes. *In this exhibition, insects and other terrestrial arthropods are referred to as "bugs." ■Notes Related events for the Expo.

Admission fee: 1,800 yen for adults, 1,500 yen for high school and university students, 700 yen for elementary and junior high school students. *Preschoolers are free. Holders of disability certificates (including one caregiver) are free (proof required). High school and university students must present a student ID.
