Dotonbori Lantern Festival 2025

This event started in 1999 at the call of the Osaka Junior Chamber. The Dotonbori River Promenade and Fukasato Bridge are decorated with about 2,025 lanterns along approximately 800 meters to Nipponbashi. It is recommended to walk along the river in a yukata or enjoy the night view of Minami by boarding the Tonbori River Cruise. Wishing for the continued vibrancy of Osaka's Minami, we have high hopes for the "2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo." Let's brighten up Minami with lots of lanterns!
