Donyama Kannonji Rose Festival

The Rose Festival held at Donyama Kannonji in Sasaguri Town, Fukuoka Prefecture. During the period, special admission to Yugi Daibotō is available, and the rose garden 'Hanamatsu ni' opens, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fragrance of roses and perennials. This rose garden at the temple is the only one in Kyushu. The opening hours for Yugi Tower and the rose garden are from 9:30 to 16:00 (last entry). Visitors will receive a commemorative stamp as a souvenir of their visit to Yugi Tower. The temple grounds are known for their fresh green 'Ao Momiji' (blue maple) and the path lined with green moss and autumn leaves can also be seen. A Kannon market featuring food trucks and stalls will be held simultaneously.
