[Autumn Foliage; Best Viewing] Seiryu Street

Enjoy an autumn stroll while listening to the sound of flowing water

Seiryu Street

Early Nov~Mid-Nov

Starting near the entrance of Kano General Branch, the approximately 600m stretch leading to the statue of Iwasaki Sozaemon, Danjo Itozakura, Ryuunji Temple, Nishioshiyamada Shrine, a waterwheel, and Kanyoji Temple offers a chance to enjoy seasonal nature, culture, and historical sites such as cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, the sound of flowing water, and winter snow scenes. Chouondou and Seiryu Street were selected in 2008 as one of the '100 Best Japanese Water Sources of the Heisei Era.' Strolling while listening to the sound of flowing water, and witnessing the collaboration of the famous waterwheel and Nishioshiyamada Shrine with autumn leaves is a must-see.
