Let's observe the auction of black wagyu calves
You can observe the free cattle auction of beef calves that takes place once every two months. Okinawa Prefecture is the fourth largest producer of calves in Japan. Many farmers in Kumejima also engage in livestock farming and auction calves that have been raised for about 10 months. At the auction, farmers from outside the prefecture, who raise cattle for meat production, purchase the calves, and most of them are shipped as branded beef across the country.
