Dai Fukuda Temple Kuwana Seiten Festival (October)

Dai Fukuda Temple, affectionately known as Seiten-san in Kuwana, is dedicated to the deity who brings prosperity, worshiped as Ganesha in India. By rubbing the "lucky bag" placed on the three-faced Daikokuten enshrined in the Seiten Hall, blessings of good health are granted. The temple grounds feature stalls selling Mitarashi dango, dried goods, and Koya pine. A limited edition golden goshuin is also available. On one day only, the matchmaking Kanon will be specially opened to the public. ■Notes This event is also held on the 16th of every month on a smaller scale, but there will be no stalls or issuance of the golden goshuin.

Note

Held on the 1st of every month. Goma prayers at the Seiten Hall are from 11:00 to 12:00. Stalls in the temple grounds operate until around 12:00. The temple office for goshuin and other services is open from 9:00 to 16:00.
