Cats are very familiar animals to us. This exhibition focuses on illustrations of 'cats' that have appeared in children's magazines and picture books since the Meiji era, tracing the 100-year journey of Japanese picture books in a digest format. We will explore the diverse expressive world of 'cat' picture books and their irresistible charm.
