Let's Make Botanical Candles at Satoyama Rose!!
Making candles using dried roses
The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Mukai from Tawarayama, have been trying to restore the declining satoyama for about 20 years by preparing gardens, abandoned farmland, and surrounding forests, creating the rose garden "Satoyama Rose." In this experience, the flowers that bloomed in Satoyama Rose are dried by the wife, and using those, participants will make botanical candles. Additionally, while the wax hardens, participants will create rose candles using different types of wax.
