Japan first received a strategic air raid on April 18, 1942, and the air raids continued intermittently until Japan's surrender. During the air raid on Okazaki on July 20, 1945, incendiary bombs were dropped in Anjo City. With the establishment of the Air Defense Law in 1937 when the Second Sino-Japanese War began, air defense training became serious, and ordinary citizens began to prepare for air raids as part of their daily lives. This exhibition focuses on air defense activities at home and introduces how the war was approaching closely.
