Miyoshi Large Lantern Festival

A collaboration of large lanterns floating in the night sky and fireworks.
The 'Miyoshi Large Lantern Festival' is held every summer at the Miyoshi Inari Shrine, located almost in the center of Miyoshi City. Three large lanterns, each 11 meters tall, are displayed and their appearance against the night sky is breathtaking. The main festival features traditional music and dances throughout the day, with many food stalls open for the two days, making the festival very lively. The fireworks launched as the finale of the main festival are also a must-see!
