2023 Fiscal Year Science Square, First Session 'Considering Balance: The Mystery of the Balancing Toy'

At the Science Square, fun experiments and crafts are conducted using tools and materials from around us. The theme of the first session is the wobbling 'balancing toy.' Why doesn't it fall even though it wobbles? Will it not fall if we change the weight and length on either side? Let's conduct various experiments to uncover the mysteries of the balancing toy. Pre-registration is required. (Applications can be made by phone to the Okayama Planetarium starting September 6.) Capacity is 10 people (first-come, first-served).
