38th Kurayoshi Sekigane Satomi Festival
In memory of Sato Tadayuki and his retainers
A festival to commemorate Sato Tadayuki, said to be the model for the Nanso Satomi Hakkenden, and his loyalty and retainers. The main attraction of the festival is the "Satomi Period Parade," where a magnificent procession of warriors clad in dazzling armor marches around the Shirokabe Dōzō-gun and the Sekigane Onsen area. Stage events are held at the Kurayoshi City Sekigane City Exchange Center.
