Special Exhibition: Thoroughly! Insect Exhibition

Insects, of which over 1 million species are known worldwide, have attracted the interest of many people due to their beautiful colors and mysterious shapes. This special exhibition will allow visitors to experience the fun of insects through large models and high-definition images captured by high-speed cameras, as well as showcase the diversity and appeal of insects through exhibits of insect specimens from Japan and around the world, including live insect displays.

Note

The museum is closed on July 14 (Mon), 22 (Tue), 28 (Mon), August 4 (Mon), 18 (Mon), 25 (Mon), September 1 (Mon), and 8 (Mon). The museum will be open until 7 PM on Saturdays during the exhibition period. Admission is until 30 minutes before closing.
