Henjoji Temple

The 23m tall ginkgo tree located within the grounds of Henjoji Temple, adjacent to Sogokujinja Shrine. It is said to have been planted by the renowned monk Yuichisyo-nin, who is famous as the founder of Henjoji Temple, and is estimated to be around 600 years old. It is designated as a natural monument by Nagai City.
