Kitakanaya Puppet Festa 2025

The Kitakanaya Puppet Festa is a "puppet theater festival" where puppet troupes from all over the country gather to bring dreams to children. Held every summer vacation since 1992 in Kitananoya City, Aichi Prefecture, this festival has a 33-year history. For the last two days of every summer vacation, the entire Nagoya University of Arts Art Square is reserved for simultaneous performances of various puppet shows. Events include special performances in the main hall, free puppet theater, bazaars, workshops, and food stalls from popular Kitananoya gourmet shops, creating enjoyable experiences for families.
