Special Exhibition "World of Coloring: Understanding Mirror Lion Through Colors"

Focusing on the characteristic "coloring" of Hirakushi Denchu's works, we will introduce a variety of collections, starting with "Mirror Lion," from a new perspective. What effects does coloring bring to Denchu's works? Additionally, what techniques are used for coloring? We will unravel these questions while tracing the evolution of the works. Even those who have already seen "Mirror Lion" may find unexpected discoveries that bring them closer to the charm of the artworks. We encourage you to visit the Hirakushi Denchu Museum during this opportunity. ■Note Closed on Mondays (open on holidays, with the following weekday as compensatory closure).
