Maximize your enjoyment of Obama Hojomatsuri based in a traditional townhouse
The Hojomatsuri (Population Release Festival) is the largest autumn festival in the Wakasa region, with a history of over 380 years, held in Obama City, Fukui Prefecture. Set against the backdrop of the historically rich town of Obama, which prospered as a connecting point between the sea and the capital through the flow of people and culture, visitors can enjoy a variety of traditional performances (festival arts) up close. This special viewing experience plan allows you to fully enjoy the Obama Hojomatsuri based in a traditional Kyoto-style townhouse built during the Taisho era.
