Collection Exhibition No.167 "Introduction of Newly Acquired Works / Collection Selected by Friends of the Museum Members Who Want to See!"

In the introduction of newly acquired works, we will introduce works newly collected by Shimonoseki City Art Museum in fiscal year 2024, including Japanese paintings by Kanō Hōgai and "Kansai Travel Sketch" by Taikan Yoshida (partly). For the "Want to See!" collection selected by Friends of the Museum members, in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Friends of the Museum, the collection selected by the members of the Friends of the Museum will be released. Related events such as gallery talks by curators and special talks by members of the Friends of the Museum are also planned.

The museum is closed on Mondays (however, it will be open on May 5, which is a public holiday) * Admission is until 16:30.
