Shizuoka Prefecture's largest scale "Fuji no Kuni Art Festival" is a comprehensive art festival where various cultural activities by the residents are presented and appreciated. This year marks the 65th time. Starting from 2024, it will merge with the "Shizuoka Prefecture Disabled Persons Art Festival," and a new "Disabled Persons Cultural Arts Division" has been established. In the cultural arts exhibition of the Disabled Persons Cultural Arts Division, works by artists with disabilities will be exhibited in three regions of the prefecture, along with an introduction to their production background and evaluation perspectives. The aim is to deepen understanding of the works and to realize a coexistent society.
