Genbikei was formed by the erosion of the Iwai River flowing into Ichinoseki City, originating from Mount Kurikoma. The dynamic scenery featuring strange rocks, deep pools, and spectacular views stretches for about 2 km, captivating visitors. The beautiful scenery across the four seasons is designated as a national scenic spot and natural monument. In autumn, the surrounding trees turn red and yellow, vividly coloring the diverse valley.
