The picture book works of the painter Mitsumasa Anno (1926-2020), known for their unique worldview, such as "Fushigi na E", "Kazoete Miyou", and "Tabi no Ehon", have received high acclaim both domestically and internationally, including winning the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Artists. Mr. Anno, who was also an art instructor, introduces a wide range of works, including original illustrations for picture books and book design, with the context of school subjects. This exhibition is accessible and enjoyable for a wide generation, and families will have fun together.
