In Japan, there has long been an abundance of myths, legends, and ghost stories that express fear of the unknown and curiosity about other realms. This summer's regular screening will feature the spectacular fantasy epic "Yashagaike" based on the Ryujin legend, and the masterpiece horror film "Inugami no Akuryo (Curse)" themed around dog possession, as part of a related event to the special exhibition at the Kochi Prefectural Museum of History and Folklore.
