How about enjoying the autumn leaves while driving?
Gongenyama, located at an elevation of 440m at the source of Nakano River, is a ridge with three peaks known as "Small Ishizuchi," "Hirota Ishizuchi," and "Iyo no Nishi Ishizuchi." You can enjoy the autumn leaves for a long stretch from the foot to near the summit. The Gongenyama Rest Area is conveniently located right next to Prefectural Road 306, making it easy to visit by car.
