Musasabi House 10th Anniversary Commemoration Mount Takao Trash Collection

The Takao-san Visitor Center (nicknamed: Musasabi House) celebrated its 10th anniversary on April 29, 2025. To commemorate this, a trash collection event will be held at Mount Takao. Participants are free to choose their course for picking up trash. You can walk up the mountain trail from the foot or use the cable car or lift. Participants will receive a commemorative tenugui. Registration is available on the Hachioji-Takao-san Wellness website.

Note

The 1st event is on 9/27 (Sat) and 28 (Sun), the 2nd event is on 10/11 (Sat) and 12 (Sun). Choose one day that suits your schedule or the weather from the two days. Departure registration is from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, descent registration is until 3:30 PM. During that time, freely explore Mount Takao, collect any trash you find, and bring it to the Takao-san Visitor Center.
