Sakado Yosakoi

Sakado Yosakoi was held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the city's establishment in 2001. It has grown over the years, attracting attention from both inside and outside the city, and has become one of the most renowned festivals in the prefecture, bustling with many visitors every year. Yosakoi allows for free choreography and costumes, enabling participants of all ages, from children to adults, to join in. Each team captivates the many spectators along the route with their rich performances. There are numerous food stalls as well, making it a festival where you can enjoy eating, watching, and participating all day long.
