Kyukamura Chaushan Kogen Sunday Morning Limited Source Coffee Walking Event 2025 (May)

A special walking event only on Sunday mornings. It takes a 15-minute walk from Kyukamura to the source of the Yahagigawa River. The Yahagigawa River flows into Toyoda City and Okazaki City, and it is an important water source in Aichi Prefecture. The water from the source feels cold in the summer and warm in the winter. We will collect water from this source, boil it on the spot, and brew hot coffee. There is no doubt that freshly brewed coffee enjoyed outdoors in the early morning is exceptional. Join us by waking up early. It takes about 15 minutes to walk on the mountain path one way (about 30 minutes round trip). Preparing the coffee takes about 15 minutes. ■ Notes Be mindful of the temperature, which is 7 to 8 degrees Celsius lower than the flatlands.
