Shimane is rich in nature, with a history that dates back to ancient times. Many plants are recorded in the Izumo Province Fudoki, indicating that people have utilized nature since ancient times. One representative plant is 'Murasaki'. In this exhibition, we will introduce the world of plants and dyeing, centered around Murasaki, in collaboration with the "Silk Workshop" located in Matsue City.
