Daikakuji Earth Blessing Ceremony

Blessing the earth
In the supreme ceremony of Shingon Buddhism (Esoteric Buddhism), it is said in the 'Kongōsattva Sutra' that 'by blessing the earth with the Light of Truth mantra and sprinkling it on graves and memorial tablets, the deceased will immediately attain paradise.' Additionally, if one carries the blessed earth as an amulet, they can protect themselves from misfortunes.
