A memorial service to express gratitude to Buddha
The Joraku-kai is a memorial service held on February 15 (old calendar; at Daikaku-ji, it falls on March 15) to commemorate the Buddha's passing and express gratitude for his virtues. It is also known as the Nirvana Festival. Let us reflect on the Buddha.
