Yoko Tawada's Multiple Me Vol.08 Theater Performance "Sakura no Sono Nippon"

A series initiated by FSX Hall since 2016. Since 2018, it has also involved citizen participation in the creation of works. "Sakura no Sono Nippon" is an adaptation of Anton Chekhov's "The Cherry Orchard." It was written as part of the Theatre X repertoire and premiered at the same theater in 2010. The challenge of adapting "The Cherry Orchard" into a script using only hiragana features 15 publicly recruited performers. The direction is by Tomoko Kawaguchi, who has worked on multiple Tawaada productions, with choreography by Sarenbo Ri. ■Notes Tickets on sale from 9/2 (Tuesday).
