Themed Exhibition "Seeing Ehime's Archaeological Sites Through Pictures - Original Works by Kazuko Hayakawa -"

Introducing the archaeological sites, burial mounds, and medieval castles in the prefecture
The restoration paintings of archaeological sites in Ehime Prefecture by leading archaeological illustrator Kazuko Hayakawa were based on the latest excavation results and created works depicting sites and rituals, starting with the special exhibition "Ehime Excavation Story 2 & Archaeology Seen Through Pictures" held at the museum in 2009. The works number over 30, including sites like the Kago Mori Castle ruins in Matsuno Town, the Kasagi Tōge Kofun in Seiyo City, and the Archaeological Museum in Matsuyama City. Through this exhibition, we aim to deepen interest and understanding of the archaeological sites, burial mounds, and medieval castles from various periods in the prefecture.
