Autumn Special Exhibition "Archaeology of Harima - Imazato Ikutaro’s Research on Yayoi Pottery, Tiles, and Station Houses"

Ikutaro Imazato (1919-2017) was an archaeologist who led the early phase of archaeological research in Hyogo Prefecture. He left a significant footprint, particularly in the studies of Yayoi pottery and ancient tiles from Harima. This exhibition commemorates the transfer of archaeological materials from his family and presents his achievements and materials, as well as the latest results of archaeological research that developed from Imazato’s studies.

Adults 500 yen (400 yen), University students 400 yen (300 yen), Free for high school students and below. *The prices in parentheses are for groups of 20 or more. A 75% discount is granted to individuals presenting a disability handbook or Mirairo ID, and one caregiver is free. Those aged 70 and over pay half of the adult fee.
