Shinya Abe Solo Exhibition
Outputting portraits drawn with a unique sensibility on the iPad
Abe has created a variety of works, including pieces that are intensely carved from painted wooden panels and portraits painted in a style where soft colors blend together. This time, he will exhibit works such as "Hug," depicting a girl hugging something ghost-like, and portraits drawn with eerie line work, mainly produced in monochrome (output from digital data drawn on the iPad using laser printing) along with drawings made with ink.
