Masumi Nakaoka Exhibition 'Transience'

Focusing on the venue for the Kansai Expo during the construction phase
Nakaoka has captured landscapes from various angles. Since 2022, she has been depicting Yumeshima, which is continuously being developed as the venue for the Osaka Expo. In her exhibition two years ago, she presented large-scale drawings that captured the changes of Yumeshima, where construction was not progressing. In this upcoming exhibition, she will showcase works focusing on the 'sky' seen from the observation points she set from the current expo venue. The production focusing on Yumeshima, based on landscapes viewed from specific locations within the venue, will continue until 2026.
