This will provide an explanation about atomic bomb-related films being screened in September at the Hiroshima City Cinematic Culture Library. Important films will be featured, including "Daigo Fukuryu Maru" and "I’m glad to be alive," as well as a documentary film titled "The Effects of the Atomic Bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki," which Prime Minister Ishiba described in a meeting with representatives of the atomic bomb survivors as something he would "never forget". The guest will be Atsuko Morimune, a film culture specialist at the Hiroshima City Cinematic Culture Library, film archivist, and film researcher.
