The healing power of the act of 'just listening'
An empathy circle is a talking circle where one person who has gathered becomes the 'speaker' and shares their own episode, while everyone else focuses on listening to the 'speaker's feelings and the important needs behind them, becoming 'listeners.' The 'speaker' and 'listeners' take turns as the discussion proceeds. It is neither a debate nor an exchange of opinions. Let’s experience how powerful the act of just listening can be in terms of healing.
