The autumn festival held at Hirao Urufushine Shrine. It is said that Tōdō Takayoshi, who received the governance of Nabari from Tōdō Takatora, started this festival in 1636. It is said to have begun with the celebration of a child born that year, referred to as 'Nendo-ko' like a treasure. During the evening festival, stalls line the streets, and residents in traditional kamishimo attire form a procession and march through the old town. In the main festival, portable shrines, danjiri floats, and futon platforms come out, and the town of Nabari becomes lively.
