The 'Children's Second Exhibition', boasting over half a century of history, receives nearly 13,000 submissions annually from kindergartners, elementary, and middle school students, mainly from western Japan. A strict selection process conducted by members of the Second Association’s painting department selects about 1,300 pieces for exhibition at the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts Tennoji Gallery.
